2010 Krugger Veon Is The Coolest Bike In The World

2010 Krugger Veon

The Veon is sportbike mode

This isn’t my opinion, this is fact; at least according to the 2010 AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building voting. The event, held at this year’s Sturgis motorcycle rally, pitted bike builders from around the world against one another. In the end, the bike that took top honors was the Veon, built by Belgium’s Krugger Motorcycles. Krugger is no stranger to the competition, haven taken third place in 2004, 2005 and 2009.

The Veon stretched in cruiser mode.

The Veon starts with a Harley-Davidson V-Rod motor, but what makes it unique is the electronically adjustable frame. At the press of a button, the rider can transform the Veon from a short wheelbase sportbike to a long and low cruiser, making the Veon a “one bike fits all” for street riders. The fork length and rake changes with the frame, giving a completely different ride depending upon the rider’s preferences.

Second place went to Thunder Struck Cycles for their Indian based Sniper. The Sniper uses an Indian Powerplus motor with intake and exhaust ports reversed, and features a custom made, reverse grind cam.
