The Mercedes A-Class has always been branded a tall-hatch/MPV, that isn't the most stylish car on the market, however, that may all change...
According to reports, this leaked sketch is apparently previewing the forthcoming premium supermini. Departing from it typical MPV look, the newcomer will feature a striking fascia, sporting a single chrome bar, and sweptback headlamps.

Designed to contend with the popular Audi
A1 and
Mini, a tailgate-mounted rear spoiler, sleek greenhouse, and a large panoramic sunroof will feature. Powering the supermini will be a variety of petrol and diesel engines, ranging from 1.2 litres to a turbocharged 2.0 litre that develops 320bhp (324PS/239 kW). This engine may be linked to an all-wheel-drive system and a 6 speed double-clutch transmission.
Look out for a world debut at next month's Shanghai motor exhibition with prices starting around £15,000, rising to £27,000 for the range-topping AMG variant.
