Good news for those who are willing to spend huge money to buy cars which can help them burn the road with their sheer speed and power as they would soon get an opportunity to buy Bugatti’s new 16C Galibier sedan. Bugatti is the maker of the world’s fastest production car and the lovers of Bugatti’s cars must be happy to know that its parent Volkswagen AG (VOW) has approved the plan to build the 16C Galibier sedan, which will be a four-door model.
If you can recall, the Galibier was unveiled last year at the Geneva Auto Show. The car is set to emerge as a powerful machine for it comes fitted with a 1,000-horsepower engine. But like all other Bugatti’s cars, this too will burn a hole in your pocket as it is worth about 1 million euros ($1.4 million).
The makers of ultra-luxury cars had went into a shell during the recession but the economy is recovering now and people are now again willing to splurge their hard earned money on the machines of their choice. The automakers know that the time has come to introduce new luxury cars as Italian automobile giant introduced the four-seat Ferrari SpA in March.
Besides Bugatti’s new model, another Volkswagen unit, Lamborghini SpA, has also set its eyes on super rich customers and is gearing up to add a new two-seater vehicle in its already impressive line up. I would love to wait for a new Lamborghini, it is just too good.
Now know something more about Bugatti’s upcoming machine. The car will be powered by a 16-cylinder engine. Keeping in mind the growing call for the use of biofuels to run the vehicles, the new car will run on biofuels as well as gasoline.
