When the new redesigned MINI was released back in 2001 people immediately flocked to it. It was funky, cool and had the makings of becoming a modern classic. Since then thousands upon thousands have been sold and with those sales came the development of new models such as the Countryman and Clubman. Well, now MINI is at it again but this time they’re dropping two wheels off of their upcoming new model. The new all electric MINI scooter concept is set to be released at the upcoming Paris Auto Show and from the above pictures we can see that MINI has been able to transition the same MINI-esque styling of their automobiles directly onto two wheels.
With a decidedly retro look and feel the new electric scooters are said to have a top speed of 31 mph and a maximum range of 62 miles which quite honestly is not too bad. What’s even cooler about the the MINI scoot is the integration between the bike and your iPhone. You see the iPhone gets its own docking station and can be used for navigation, music or even your ignition key. Crazy right? As of right now the MINI scoot is still just a concept, but I have a feeling that this thing is going to get such a grand reception that MINI will rush it to production.
