Toyota Aygo Ice launched (UK)

The beginning of the year saw Toyota launch another special edition Aygo, called Go! Now the Japanese firm is releasing the Aygo Ice.

The range-topping special edition is equipped with features like air-conditioning, leather steering wheel and gearknob, front electric windows, 6 speaker audio system, and leather/Alcantara seat trim.

“The price tag also takes in a choice of three metallic paint finishes: Dark Forest, Vermillion Red and Crystal Silver. Side protection mouldings are also provided to guard against the rough and tumble of city motoring. All this comes at just an extra £655 compared to the equivalent Aygo+, reinforcing the built-in value customers can enjoy” said Toyota.

Both three and five door bodystyles will be offered, alongside a 5 speed manual gearbox and a Multimode semi-automatic. Linked to these is a 1.0 VVT-i petrol engine.

The Aygo Ice doesn't come cheap, with an entry price of £9,750 for the 3dr variant.
