Inside, the same highly customisable interior found in the tin-top 500 features. Talking of features, standard equipment for the entry-level Pop includes air conditioning, 15” steel wheels, electric front windows, electric door mirrors, remote central locking, leather steering wheel, and Bluetooth w/USB port. Predictably, the luggage space measures at 153 litres (5.4 cubic feet).
Progress comes from the same petrol engine located in the hard-top 500; a 1.4 litre MultiAir 101bhp (102PS/75kW) that produces 133Nm (98lb-ft) of torque when linked to a 5 speed manual, although a 6 speed automatic will be offered.
With sales starting soon, the base 500C carries a hefty $4,000 premium over the 3dr 500, at $19,500.
