The 3.6 litre petrol now produces 318bhp (314PS/237kW) and 372Nm (275lb-ft) of torque, up from 304bhp (300PS/227kW) and 370Nm (273lb-ft), while retaining the same EPA ratings of 18/27mpg when mated to a 6 speed automatic.
The uprated 3.6 litre V6 will be optional on the CTS sedan and sport wagon and standard on the CTS coupé. A 3.0 litre V6 will remain standard on four and five-door CTS variants.
A new optional package will be offered. The Touring Package is optional on the 3.0 litre and 3.6 litre V6 engines, and adds a bespoke front grille in a dark finish, dark Sapele wood interior trim and suede seat inserts, steering wheel and gearknob, and chrome door handles, with the 3.0 litre featuring 18” alloy wheels with a pearl-nickel finish, and the 3.6 litre model including 19” polished wheels and Recaro 14-way adjustable sports seats.
Sales start in late Summer.
