Lexus Project CT by Five Axis set for Chicago

In previous Five Axis projects we've seen some dramatic over-stylings for the IS-F and GS models. Now, as a final promo push prior to the vehicle's market launch in March, the CT200h gets to strut its new mods on the occassion of the Chicago Auto Show.

Judging by this preview image released by Lexus all of the necessary styling ingredients are present: oversized wheels, gaping front fascia, custom paint job, bulging fenders and hanging side skirts. We'll have to wait until the revealing to find out if any performance upgrades have been made under the hood, but we have our doubts as these one-off tuning projects tend to focus more on design than performance specs. And since it's a hybrid Lexus surely won't want to do anything to jeopardize its 42 mpg fuel econ
